Smokey Pineapple Flavored Butter Log

This pineapple flavored butter is sweet with a hint of smoke that dresses up seafood, fish, shrimp, lobster and scallops with tropical flavors. You can also use the butter to saute, or as a spread or dip.
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 00 minute
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 ea. 8 oz. can crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
Preparation:
  1. When butter has reached room temperature, place all the ingredients in a medium bowl.
  2. Beat the ingredients together with a mixer or use a fork.
  3. Lay out a large piece of wax paper on a flat surface.
  4. Transfer the butter mix onto the paper and shape into a log.
  5. Roll the cylinder up in the wax paper and twist the ends of the paper
  6. place the butter log in the refrigerator to harden before use
Servings: About 12 pats that are about 1 teaspoon each.
