Arroz con Gandules - Rice and Pigeon PeasAny special occasion meal in Puerto Rico would not be complete without Arroz con Gandules. There are several versions of the dish throughout the islands. Here is how I make it - seasoned with sofrito and diced ham. I'll be serving it alongside my Pavochón this Thanksgiving.
