Plantain Recipes

tostones Plantains are a close cousin of bananas. They're a staple food in the tropical regions of the world. Early explorers probably brought plantains to the Caribbean islands for cultivation and now we enjoy them in every stage of ripeness. You can, too. I have put together a plantain recipe list for your enjoyment. The list includes recipes for both ripe and green plantains. Also, check out the tutorial on how to peel a plantain.
